Today, as the Associate Adviser at Dunlap & Associates, Renée assists Ray in helping clients plan and achieve their goals through a comprehensive financial planning approach. She is also in charge of all trading operations, preparing for and participating in most client meetings, and helping clients with inquiries regarding investments, Social Security, insurance, and many other topics. She really enjoys the people she works with, both clients and co-workers, and is excited to continue learning and growing in her position.

Q. What types of matters do you work on most often?

A. Most clients’ biggest concern is knowing if they have or will have enough money to retire comfortably. Because this is not a “one size fits all” answer, we spend a lot of our time helping people design a savings plan to make sure they meet this goal, and for those who are already in the retirement phase of their life, we help them design an income plan that is sustainable and as tax-efficient as possible.

Q. Where can we find you when you’re not working?

A. Sitting on my front porch reading a book, spending time outdoors with my family, or wrapped up in one of my hobbies, like cooking or practicing yoga.

Q. Who is your business hero?

A. I have a lot of respect for successful entrepreneurs who are self-made. Their hard work and determination is very inspiring.

Q. Bucketlist vacation destination?

A. Hawaii is one of those magical places that I think everyone wants to see at least once. Even my daughter talks about how much she wants to go there, so I would love to surprise her with a trip there someday!
